Workbox is pleased to announce the relaunch of The Ploughshare Fund's website, Ploughshares.org.
This important non-profit decided to market more aggressively online. So, they turned to Workbox to pump up their website and brand.
“Ploughshares has the luxury of rich content,” says Eric Weidner, Workbox’s CEO. “They’ve funded wonderful organizations and have a deep list of experts associated with those organizations.”
"One of our important missions is to focus attention on the organizations we fund,” says Naila Bolus, The Ploughshares Fund’s Executive Director. “We’re implementing plans to get our list of experts in front of policy makers, journalists, academics and other people interested in international peace issues. This will enhance both our and our grantees’ reputations. Our experts can speak to almost any issue regarding war, arms and terrorism.”
“Without the searchable, online database that Workbox built, we’d have a very tough time presenting and maintaining this content,” Ms. Bolus adds.
Additionally, Workbox redesigned the site to show a more vibrant and dynamic organization.
"The site has taken our brand to a new level,” says Deborah Bain, Ploughshares Fund’s Director of Development and Communications. "Our new site has been extremely well received by our key constituencies -- our donors, grantees, journalists and policymakers. The new design projects a vital, sophisticated and serious organization.”
By utilizing Workbox’s CUT™ software, Ploughshares now has these enhancements:
- Simple, forms-based content updating
- Email newsletter sign-ups and delivery
- Online reporting and tracking of internal processes
- Dynamic selection of items to feature on the homepage
