Workbox announces the launch of TelShare, a new conference call company that sells reservationless teleconferencing services to the small to mid-sized business market.
"I was impressed with how quickly the Workbox team was able to create a complete online business," said Chris Workman, an associate at Alpine Investors, TelShare's owner.
"They did the brand, the website and the technology in three weeks," said Workman.
"We were able to include a powerful referral marketing feature, too," said Eric Weidner, Workbox's CEO.
"TelShare's 'TelAFriend' referral marketing program pays commissions to people who make referrals to our service," said Workman.
The program works like this: when a referred customer uses TelShare services, the person who made the referral earns one cent per minute, per line.
Workman continued, "We've seen a surprising amount of traction for this program, and we haven't started a direct marketing campaign yet."
Additional features to the site include email and direct mail marketing tracking systems.
