Eric Weidner, President & CEO
A seasoned media and technology executive, Eric Weidner co-founded Workbox in 1997. Weidner's expertise lies in helping clients translate their business goals into something highly usable on the Web. Throughout his career, he has crafted this skill into a practical, systematic process, working to launch successful sites for, Gensler, Evite, BrightLink, Mobileum Wireless, Alza Pharmaceuticals, Barra and many others.
In January 2001, Weidner merged Workbox with Danilo Black, to co-found Danilo Black USA with media design guru Roger Black and famed Mexican designer Eduardo Danilo. While with Danilo Black USA, Weidner defined and managed large projects for McNeil Consumer Healthcare, ComputerWorld, San Francisco Chronicle, Los Angeles Times, Kinetics Group and Red Herring.
In September 2001, Weidner relaunched Workbox to focus his experience on the growing web needs of the small to mid-sized business market.
Stephanie Heald, Chief Creative Officer
Heald has proved the depth of her design talent on websites, branding, magazines, newspapers, books, and information graphics for Danilo Black USA, where she worked with the highly-regarded Roger Black, and Workbox. Her book experience includes God's Breath, Revolution, and San Francisco Seafood. Heald has done information architecture, web design and branding work for many startups and established businesses including Kefta.com, SkillsOne, Headlight.com, System I, Marimba, Evite and Knowledge Link. Additionally, Red Herring magazine uses her information graphics templates, and the San Francisco Chronicle uses her interior page layouts.
Heald earned a B.A. from the Chicago Art Institute.
Bejan Aminifard, Chief Technical Officer
Bejan Aminifard is a founder of Strategy LLC, a Russia-based development company specializing in e-commerce software development since January 1999. Bejan's uniquely positive e-commerce experience is the result of a strong technical background matched with a "can do" entrepreneurial spirit and an understanding of online business. His first e-commerce venture earned placement in the "Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in America in 1998" (D&B/Entrepreneur Magazine). After a string of successful e-commerce ventures, Bejan's current focus is on online marketplace platform development.
Bejan graduated from UC Berkeley in 1996 with a B.A. in Cognitive Science and concentration in Computer Science.
John Miller, Consulting Creative Director
In 1997, John Miller co-founded Workbox, where he developed branding and sites for @Home, MSNBC, Infoseek, Hitachi, Oracle, Evite, Marimba, Gensler, and others.
Miller has worked in print media for 20 years, as an editor/art director at Esquire, Vanity Fair, and HarperCollins. Miller has consulted on redesigns of numerous publications, including TV Guide, Panorama (Milan), Bilanz (Switzerland), and The Asian Wall Street Journal. He has also worked as a book packager on more than 50 literary and art books, including "Nobody Reads Anymore," which examines ways to effectively present content to today's frenzied readers.
In 2002, Miller founded Miller Media. He continues to work closely with the Workbox team on strongly branded and complex design issues.
